Islamic Medical Association of Malaysia
Who is IMAM?
Islamic Medical Association of Malaysia (IMAM). IMAM was
established in 1989 and recognized as one of the largest
medical professional organisation in Malaysia. It is comprised of doctors, paramedics and medical students who carry out voluntary work outside the confines of the government and private sectors. IMAM is also an active member of Federation of Islamic Medical Associations (FIMA)

UK Ireland Student Chapter
The student chapter in the UK & Ireland was
formed in the year 2002, the leadership pioneered by a
number of first year medical student.
This is meant to provide an early venue for Muslim
medical students to integrate themselves in the ideals and
practices of Islamic medicine.

To consolidate the knowledge,
experience and expertise of Muslim
doctors to serve humanity at large.
To be in every sense a dutiful member to
the larger society, fully acting,
interacting and caring for it.
To highlight and integrate the medicine
field and those related to it as an
important part in an Islamic
worldview.

IMAM's SC Activity Scope
While adhering to the main objectives of Islamic medicine and service to humanity, the scope of activity for IMAM UK‐Eire Student Chapter is quite wide, giving utmost consideration to the student population that it represents.
a. We plan to arrange seminars, symposiums
and practical training sessions from time to
time.
b. Academic discussion, support and advice
from member‐to‐member with assistance by
practicing doctors.
c. Fundraisings and relief missions.
